Many thanks 🐾
This rescue was built on love, compassion, and the people who answered the call when animals had nowhere else to turn.

Lucky Day Animal Rescue
Thank you for sponsoring Rosco’s Affordable Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic from the very first clinic onward. Your support helped make this mission possible from the start.
Colorado Animal Rescue Express
— Lisa Mendelsberg
Thank you for always being there since this organization was founded. Whether helping transport animals or donating funds when a dog or kitty needed medical attention, your compassion and dedication have meant so much throughout the years.
The Humane Society for Animals
— Clay Morgan
Thank you for being there since my very first transport in 2014. You have always been someone I could turn to for expert advice, guidance, and friendship in rescue work. Your support has made a lasting difference in both my life and the lives of countless animals.
In Honor of My Brothers
Grover and Dan Weese
My brothers always supported and believed in both me and the rescue efforts. They helped transport rescued dogs and cats, assisted with fundraising events, and stood beside me at many adoption events and rescues.
Grover remained involved until his health declined and he sadly passed away. Dan, despite ongoing health challenges, still continues to help with fundraising events to this day. Their love, dedication, and belief in this mission will always be deeply appreciated and remembered.
With Heartfelt Love to My Daughter, Peri
Peri has always supported the rescue efforts and has shown tremendous compassion for the rescued furbabies. She has given so much love not only to the animals, but also to me throughout this journey.
I have to admit, she would love to see me retire from rescue work someday — only because she worries about me and fears losing me. That love and concern mean more to me than words can express.
Wanda Terry
(Whom I Consider My Adopted Daughter)
Wanda has been there for nearly 90 percent of all rescues and has been part of this journey since 2014, with only a brief two-year break. She has always had a deep love and compassion for animals and would have made an incredible veterinarian.
Her dedication, hard work, and caring heart have touched the lives of countless rescued animals and have been an invaluable part of this rescue family.
A special thank you to the staff at Fairfield Bay Animal Control — Nikk and Drake — for their daily operational strength, integrity, dedication, and commitment to serving above and beyond for the animals and community.
Their hard work continues to help pave the way for the next generation of rescue efforts, and their compassion, professionalism, and teamwork are deeply appreciated. I wanted to make sure they were thanked twice on this site because their efforts truly deserve recognition.
